Small Business Deal Advisors (“SBDA”) is pleased to announce the sale of its client, Lenoir, NC-based DogWatch of the Blue Ridge Mountains, to individual investors.
Opened in 2013, DogWatch of Blue Ridge Mountains sells and installs pet containment and training products for sixteen counties across North Carolina including Asheville, Boone, and Hickory. DogWatch delivers exceptional service with cutting-edge technology and products that differentiate the Business from other hidden pet fence and pet containment providers.
Brian and Susan Harvey purchased the dealership as a semi-retirement job in 2013. The business took off beyond their expectations. With DogWatch performing strongly, the Harveys decided they were ready to fully retire and sell the Company. At this point, they engaged Small Business Deal Advisors to market and sell the dealership.
Brian commented, “Susan and I have really enjoyed running DogWatch over the past 6 years. When we decided we were ready to retire, we knew Small Business Deal Advisors would be there to help. Their marketing reach was evident as they brought several buyers to the table very quickly. Thank you, Doug and the SBDA team for your guidance and helping us reach our goal.”
The new owners of DogWatch of the Blue Ridge Mountains are western North Carolina natives, PJ and Angela Powers.
Doug Yntema, the lead advisor who managed the deal, added, “I was happy to find the perfect buyer. After the first call, I had a feeling it would be a match. I’m glad it worked out for everyone.“
