Background: Sharon joined Vander Ploeg, Bergakker & Associates in 2004 and has more than 35 years experience working with businesses and individuals. Prior to joining Vander Ploeg, Bergakker & Associates, Sharon had 21 years of professional experience with one of the four largest international public accounting firms, specializing in tax, and three years of experience in private industry. Currently, she leads VBA in the day to day management of the firm. In addition, she provides professional business advisory services in the areas of financial management, accounting, tax advisory, and tax compliance services to businesses in a variety of industries. She also provides tax planning and compliance services for individuals, especially for business owners.
