Located in the heart of Northern Michigan, The Lewiston Hotel Bar & Grill has become a beloved hotel and pub over many years for both locals and tourists alike. The hotel and bar offers a warm, rustic getaway where guests can book a room for the night or enjoy a meal at the bar.
The Lewiston Hotel Bar & Grill has a rich, 70-year history. Originally founded in 1948 as the Neuenfelt Hotel, the hotel and bar operated under this name for many decades. In 2016, The Lewiston Hotel was acquired by Mike Lietzke and renamed to The Lewiston Hotel Bar & Grill.
Mike Lietzke and his spouse, Meredith, have maintained an active role in the businesses’ day-to-day operations. After successfully running the business for many years, Mr. Lietzke engaged Small Business Deal Advisors to assist with the sale of the Company.
The Lewiston Hotel & Bar was acquired by Troy Willett of Newaygo, Michigan. He and his wife, Crissy, had been looking to acquire a business in Northern Michigan for quite some time.

Small Business Deal Advisors advised The Lewiston Hotel Bar & Grill on the sale through the development of marketing materials, comprehensive marketing of the acquisition opportunity, and consulting through the negotiation, due diligence, and closing periods. The transaction was managed by SBDA associate, Doug Yntema.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
