Amor Sign Studios designs, manufactures, and installs different types of signage. The company specializes in the creation of awnings, storefronts, commercial signs and letters, as well as electrical signs and letters.

William Amor established Amor Sign Studios in 1946 and the company has been family owned and operated in Manistee, MI ever since. Thomas E. Amor is the fourth-generation owner of the company. He and his son, Thomas H. Amor, have managed the company for many years. Ready to transition into retirement, the pair engaged Small Business Deal Advisors to assist in the sale of the Company.

Johnson Sign Co. is a family owned and operated signage company that designs, manufactures, and installs signage. Founded in 1964, Johnson Sign Co. offers a variety of different signage products such as electronic signs, monument signs, awnings, wall letters and signs, and pylon signs. The firm’s manufacturing and installation capabilities have made it one of Michigan’s largest producers of custom fabricated signs and the company has one of the state’s largest installation fleets. 

This is the third acquisition in the past decade for Johnson Sign Co. which acquired Douglas Sign Co. of Lansing, MI and Huron Sign Co. of Ypsilanti, MI. The acquisition of Amor Sign Studios provides a greater West Michigan presence for the operation.
