Small Business Deal Advisors, LLC (“SBDA”), is excited to announce the successful sale of A&W All American Food® Restaurant of Myrtle Point, OR to Brookwood Capital Advisors.

Founded in 1964, A&W Myrtle Point, OR is a quintessential American restaurant serving hamburgers, hot dogs, shakes, and of course, iconic A&W root beer.

The buyer, Brookwood Capital Advisors, is an investment group that owns assets across the country, with current assets being held in Michigan, Texas, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia.

SBDA advised A&W of Myrtle Point, OR on the sale through the development of marketing materials, comprehensive marketing of the acquisition opportunity, and consulting through the negotiation, due diligence, and closing periods. Associate Doug Yntema led the deal.

A&W Restaurants, Inc. is an international chain of fast-food restaurants that dates to 1919. There are currently over 625 A&W locations in the United States and 340 international locations. A&W is an iconic brand that is experiencing a significant renaissance under new franchisee ownership. The A&W brand is owned by a partnership of international and domestic franchisees, including the National A&W Franchisees Association (NAWFA). With their years of experience working on the front lines of their franchises, NAWFA helped restructure the A&W business model in 2011, bringing the brand back in line with its 100-year-old roots.
