Small Business Deal Advisors is delighted to announce the acquisition of its client, Coach House Iron of Sparta, Michigan, to Precision Machining and Fabrication, Inc. of Comstock Park, Michigan.

Founded in 1987, Coach House Iron is a metal fabricator located in Sparta, Michigan that specializes in creating custom metal structures for local construction, remodeling, and industrial companies. The Company’s product offerings include the manufacturing of metal furniture parts, posts, beams, staircases, and various other custom items.

Coach House Iron was founded by brothers Mike and Herb Bergstrom. The two have worked tirelessly over the last 36 years to successfully operate the Company. With an eye towards retirement, Mike and Herb engaged Small Business Deal Advisors to assist with the sale of Coach House Iron.

“Mike and I are elated that Scott found such a well-suited buyer for Coach House Iron, and we are thrilled that Precision Machining and Fabrication is taking over the reins. We are excited to enter retirement, knowing that the Company is in such good hands,” said Herb Bergstrom.

Precision Machining and Fabrication, Inc. specializes in CNC machining, turning, and fabrication for a variety of industries. Since its establishment in 2009, the Company has remained committed to providing innovative and superior manufacturing solutions to its customers.

The owner of Precision Machining and Fabrication, Aarron Antcliff, was seeking a new facility for the Company. During his search, he came across the opportunity to acquire Coach House Iron. After careful consideration, Aarron and his wife, Ren, found that the purchase of Coach House Iron would be a perfect fit for Precision Machining and Fabrication. While the Company has focused on machining over the years, the acquisition of Coach House Iron will allow Precision Machining and Fabrication to expand its fabrication sector and operate out of a well-suited facility.

Aarron Antcliff commented, “Ren and I are pleased to announce the further expansion of Precision Machining and Fabrication. We look forward to continuing Coach House Iron’s legacy of providing high-quality metal products. Our hope is that both businesses will complement each other, allowing us to offer even more to both our existing and new customers.”

Scott Nicholson, Mergers and Acquisitions Advisor at Small Business Deal Advisors, was the lead advisor on the transaction.

“Coach House Iron has been providing exceptional metal fabrication services in the area for over three decades,” stated Scott Nicholson. “With Aarron’s extensive experience in the field, we are confident that Precision Machining and Fabrication will continue to uphold Coach House Iron’s legacy.”

Small Business Deal Advisors provided Coach House Iron, with expert guidance throughout the entire process of selling the company, including the creation of promotional materials, extensive marketing efforts, consulting during negotiations, due diligence, and closing. The transaction was managed by SBDA Associate, Scott Nicholson.

The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
