Small Business Deal Advisors (“SBDA”) is pleased to announce the sale of Grand Rapids, MI-based Marco Bistro to Providence Street Restaurant Group.

Founded in 2002, Marco Bistro is an award-winning, polished casual neighborhood restaurant. The restaurant offers simple, well-made food in a quaint, comfortable French bistro setting. The staff prepares a seasonal menu featuring American and European dishes with the freshest and finest ingredients, which are locally sourced whenever possible.

Regarded as a “hidden gem” by MLive, Marco Bistro has been a fan favorite for years. It has received multiple upscale dining awards and is highly rated online.

The restaurant was founded by Mark McNamara. According to Mark, “I’ve truly enjoyed growing Marco Bistro over the past 17 years. It has been a pleasure serving our countless guests. With that said, I am excited to hand the reigns over to Providence Street Restaurant Group. I have no doubt that it will continue to thrive.”

Providence Street Restaurant Group is led by Rick and Beth Buskard.

SBDA served as M&A advisor to Marco Bistro. This included providing advisory expertise and managing the preparatory, marketing, due diligence, and negotiation phases of the transaction.
