The company provides specialized care, memory care, care and companionship, childcare, fall and injury prevention, and respite care. The services commonly included in the different types of care are personal assistance, errands and transportation, light housekeeping, companionship, meal assistance, and 24-hour care. Synergy HomeCare of Peoria primarily serves Peoria County and the surrounding communities within a 25-mile radius.
Synergy HomeCare of Peoria was founded in 2017 by Kishor and Lalaine Thope. Ready to focus their energy on other business interests, the pair engaged Small Business Deal Advisors to assist in the sale of the Company.
Synergy HomeCare of Peoria was acquired by Sheepdogs Care, Inc. Shad and Melissa Sleeth formed Sheepdogs Care, Inc. for the purpose of the acquisition. The inspiration behind the name came from the desire to serve the welfare and safety of others.
Shad has extensive experience in running and operating small businesses, specifically in the franchising real estate and staffing industries. Additionally, Shad and Melissa both have past experience working as a caregiver for family members. The couple plan to use their previous experiences to successfully manage Synergy HomeCare of Peoria.
